Housing Market in Pictures
A while back I was looking at housing data when everyone was all hot about the collapse of the housing market. I’ve added a few details about political events and you can see before and after.
Not claiming exactly what caused what, but until about 1995 we were in a relatively stable trend and then the data breaks north into a decade long spike that we know now should have been clearly seen as unstable. What changed in 1995 that I’m missing?
Update: I saw the spelling mistake in the original chart after posting, its now fixed.
